See the active contestsUploading
- Only registered members can upload a pix to a contest.
- Each uploaded image must be an original photograph by the member who submits it.
- A member can take part in the active contests listed on the Contests page and track the status of their entry: time to upload, voting, and waiting for results.
- Images should be published with a title and a description so that other members can find and score them.
Contest listings show the current phase of each challenge, from upload through voting to the results.
Voting
- Members score the pix they like; the photo with the highest score among those uploaded on the same day becomes the Pix of the Day.
- Scores given during the voting phase determine the ranking used for the contest results.
- Sponsored contests run under the same participation flow, with the sponsor's brief shown on the contest page.
Eligibility
- To upload, vote and take part in prizes, you need an account on Loveyourpix.
- Members must respect the theme of the contest they enter and the community guidelines of the platform.
- Each member may take part in the contests published on the platform, including sponsored contests created to promote a brand.
Further conditions are stated in the Terms and Conditions.

Loveyourpix is built around the idea that a photograph is made, not simply taken. Members from around the world upload their own work to themed photo contests, then score the entries submitted by other photographers. The homepage slogan reflects a hands-on approach to image-making, where composition, subject and moment matter more than expensive gear. Alongside the contests there is a curated set of featured photography, plus a market and print section for members who want to see their work treated as something tangible rather than just a thumbnail in a feed.
Entering a contest on Loveyourpix starts with being a registered member. Only signed-in photographers can upload a pix, and every file submitted must be an original photograph made by the person entering it. Each entry is published with a title and a description so that other members can search for it, understand its intent and score it fairly. Once an image is in, the entry moves through clearly separated phases: the time to upload, the voting period, and the wait for results, which members can follow from the contests listing while the work sits in front of the community.
The rules page exists so that nobody joins a contest without knowing how it works. It sets out who is eligible, how uploading and voting proceed, and how prizes are distributed once a contest closes. Judges and editors pick winners from the pool of entries, and winning photographs are often given a place of honour in the featured gallery. Reading through the rules before the first upload is recommended, because contests differ in theme and duration, and a strong title and clear description give an entry a better chance of being noticed by voters and editors alike.
Voting on Loveyourpix is a community activity rather than a private one, which is why the layout leans toward a forum-like density of text and links. Every member is invited to browse active contests, open individual entries and leave a score or comment, and the crew of editors then compares the most voted images with their own judgement of the work. Some contests are sponsored, some are simply themed days, and each carries its own conditions. Taking part is straightforward, but understanding the conditions attached to a specific contest before uploading keeps everything fair for the other photographers competing alongside you.
Beyond the contest itself, Loveyourpix carries a wider photography culture: a newsletter, a flow of announcements about winners and hall of fame entries, and a store where prints can be acquired. Terms, privacy policy and FAQ sections sit at the edge of the site, and the deep navy background with steel-blue panels keeps the emphasis on words and images rather than decoration. For photographers who want to share work, exchange feedback and see how their pictures are received by other enthusiasts, the platform offers a place where a single entry can travel from an upload into a printed piece on a wall.
After the contest
Top photographers can also sell prints of their work on the FineArt Marketplace, where they set the price and decide on the Limited Edition option. Photographic masterclasses and events are listed separately through TheWorkshopCenter.
